3. Purposes for personal data processing and legal basis for data processing
We will be processing your personal data for conference purposes related to the organization of the event and your participation in it, in particular:
 
- Communication in practical issues
- Preparation of participants’ lists and conference name tags
- Conference programme printing
 
The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation):
 
1) You give consent for processing your personal data for purposes strictly related to the organization of the conference and your participation in the event.
2) Personal data controller is legally bound to fulfil its data protection obligations related to participation in the conference and its successive financial settlement.
 
The provision of personal data is voluntary and denial to provide them might result in the impossibility of participating in the conference only when denying to provide certain categories of data precludes the realization of purposes for data processing by the data controller. In case when providing certain categories of data, e.g. phone number or email address, is not imperative but facilitates communication, it suffices to indicate that the provision of these data is voluntary.
 
4. Period for which data will be stored
We will be storing your data until the conclusion of the conference’s financial settlement and during the limitation period of potential civil claims due to the payment of the conference fee, as well as for archival purposes, in accordance with applicable law.
 
5. Recipients of personal data
We may transfer your data to subjects preparing the graphic design of the conference whom we may commission to process your data, as well as to bodies and public subjects who have the right to obtain data on the basis of applicable law. Moreover, the name and surname of conference participants and authors and/or co-authors of conference presentations will be made public in the conference materials and conference programme announced at the conference website, in accordance with the provided materials.
 
6. Your rights related to data processing and automated decisions
You have the following rights with regards to personal data processing:
 
1) The right to withdraw your consent for data processing, with the exception of data made public on permanent carriers (printed in the conference materials).
2) The right to access your personal data.
3) The right to demand data correction, revision or supplementation.
4) The right to demand the erasure of your data, especially following your withdrawal of consent for data processing and when no other legal basis for data processing applies.
5) The right to demand restriction of processing your data.
6) The right to object to processing your data, on grounds relating to your particular situation, when we process your data in accordance with our compelling legitimate interest or when your personal data are processed for direct marketing purposes.
7) The right to receive the personal data that concern you, which you have provided to the controller, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and have the right to transmit those data to another controller without hindrance from the controller to which the personal data have been provided, where technically feasible. That right shall not apply to processing necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller.
8) The right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time to processing of your personal data which is based on profiling and/or automated individual decision-making.
9) The right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, i.e. the President of the Data Protection Office.
 
The right to withdraw consent:
You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. Prior to giving consent, you shall be informed thereof.
